Memory bears are teddy bears that are made using a loved one's clothing or special fabrics.
I made this memory bear when my daughter's best friend Hadi was in a fatal car accident. I wanted to do something to help Hadi's mother. The bear was made out of Hadi's favorite corduroy jacket and one of her t-shirts. Since then, I have made several other memory bears in remembrance of loved ones. I have also made some gift bears to commemorate special occasions.
